Why I Shoot

For me, photography is about communication. Whether capturing the beauty of a breathtaking landscape or freezing a moment in time for a family, as a photographer, I feel it’s my duty to bring out the truest essence of a place or person and in most cases add a creative flare. There is nothing that I enjoy more than doing this for people. I love to find the right angle, or use the light to enhance what one would see with the naked eye, and put forth something that takes a person’s breath away. I not only want to communicate something worth a 1,000 words, I want to leave the person with no words, but only a sparkle in the eye that says it all, “You captured exactly what I had envisioned, but even better.” That’s what drives me and my pursuit of writing with light.

Brandon is a true professional and really knows how to get great shots. It was a pleasure having him do our family photos.

Brandon and Karina did our maternity shoot. Everything went very smooth and we love the results. The color combinations make the photos look amazing. We’ve gotten tons of compliments on the photos and will be getting them framed and hung in our house.

Last Christmas we had an awesome photo session with Brandon Faust. Even though it was pretty late at night he still did a really good job getting my kids to smile and made the whole session a nice magical moment. Karina Faust did amazing make-up and did my hair so nicely it made me look like a princess from the fairytales! He also squeezed in a couple pictures with me and my husband it was so cute!

We got some family photos done and they couldn’t be more perfect! Brandon and Karina are super professional and caught all the right moments. I wanted action shots and i know photographers need to be super talented to get good action shots and we def got more than enough amazing shots. I honestly don’t know how to pick which ones to hang on my walls as there are so many really good ones. Super awesome job for what we paid.
